David Cochrane, Cosmic Patterns Software

David is the lead programmer at Cosmic Patterns Software, and the main author of the Kepler, Pegasus and Sirius programs. A past president of ISAR, David has collaborated with astrologers around the world on astrological software and research projects, created over 180 free tutorial videos, authored numerous articles and research papers, and is a pioneer in the development of Vibrational Astrology. A dynamic, engaging and much-loved speaker, David focuses on practical ideas and applying them in new and exciting ways.

David will be delivering the Inaugural Kepler Keynote Address, on The Spirit of Discovery. He will also present a paper on Baseball Batting Talent and Baseball Batting Performance, and chair the panel on Methodologies. 

Bill Meridian, MBA  

obtained his BS in banking from NYU in 1971 and his MBA in corporate finance in 1972. He began to study cycles in the same year. A 9-year psychotherapeutic training apprenticeship with Dr. John Pierrakos in NYC followed. Many of his concepts concerning crowd psychology derive from the period. Since the 1970's, he has been on Wall Street combining fundamental, cyclical and technical analysis, developing his own software in the process. The software proved that value is added by applying planetary cycles. From 1972 to 1990, he worked on both the buy and the sell sides of Wall Street. From 1990 to 2004, he was with the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, where he was the technology fund manager, North American strategist, and a member of the currency hedging committee. Since 2004, he has been operating his own money management and consulting service from Vienna, Austria.

His publications include: Planetary Stock Trading, Planetary Economic Forecasting, and Predictive Power of Eclipse Paths and In Search.  Bill is active in groups that focus on the future and upon cycles. He is a member of the Kenos Circle, a Vienna-based group of futurists. Bill will be speaking on the best evidence for planetary influence on the markets and cycles. 

Glenn Perry, PhD.

 is an astrologer and licensed psychotherapist in private practice. He received his doctorate in psychology from Saybrook Institute in San Francisco. A professional astrologer since 1974, Glenn is founder and president of the Academy of AstroPsychology. He has served as adjunct professor at The California Institute of Integral Studies, and program director for the Masters Degree program in Archetypal Cosmology at The Graduate Institute of Connecticut. Dr. Perry lectures internationally on the application of astrology to the fields of counseling and psychotherapy. He is the author of eight books on astrology, including Stealing Fire from the Gods: New Directions in Astrological Research. He also serves as a Board member and qualitative research advisor for ISAR.  Glenn will present a paper on 'The Developmental Age Method: A Hermeneutic Study,' and will serve on the Research Methodologies panel.  He will also share his experiences in integrating astrology with psychology & psychotherapy on the Expanding Professional Applications panel.

Wendy Stacey, M.A.

Wendy holds an MA in cultural astronomy and astrology (2003) and has been researching the effects of induced labor on birth times for a PhD in astrological research. She is the Chairperson for the Astrological Association (UK), the principal of the international Mayo School of Astrology and tutor for the London School of Astrology.  Wendy has written over 50 articles for students in the Astrological Journal and is the author of Consulting with Astrology and Uranus Square Pluto. She has also contributed to The New Generation, and to OPA’s Professional Practice of Astrology.   In 2014, Wendy was the recipient of the UK’s Charles Harvey award for ‘Exceptional Service to Astrology’.   Wendy will present a paper detailing how birth time patterns have changed radically since 1990 with babies increasingly being born between 9-5 and Monday to Friday, using a data set of over 90,000 births.  Wendy will also appear on both panels,  discussing mixed methodologies and astrology in academia.   

Bruce Scofield, PhD  

Scofield holds an M.A. in History, a Ph.D. in Geoscience, has taught science at the University of Massachusetts and currently teaches courses for Kepler College. He began a lifelong study of astrology in 1967 and since the mid 1970’s has been an astrological consultant specializing in psychological analysis, relationships and electional astrology. He has authored seven books and numerous articles on astrology and has served on the education committee of NCGR since 1979 as both member and director, presently serving as president of PAA. He has Level 4 certification from NCGR-PAA,  His website contains information on Mesoamerican astrology and other topics.

Bruce will present a paper on 'Astrology as a Mapping Technique for Complex, Self-Regulating Systems,' a poster session on A Signal from Saturn in Daily Temperature Data and will participate on the panel on Methodologies. 

Courtney Roberts, M.A.

With an M.A. in Cultural Astronomy, and extensive publications, Courtney has worked, taught & lectured all over the world; from Harvard to Maynooth to Princess Noura in Saudi Arabia.  Her research on ancient Persian astrology and its influence on 1st century Judean messianic expectations can be found in The Star of the Magi , along with her published research on Visions of the Virgin Mary. An devoted sports researcher, her sports data collections are published with AstroLabe, in the AstroDatabank & with Cosmic Patterns Software. She is the director of Canaveral Research & the Kepler Conference coordinator, where she will present on The Kepler Quiz: Astronomy, AI and the Big 5, and on NFL Head Coaches: The Making of a Champion.

Will Morris, PhD, DAOM, LAc

Will Morris earned a clinical doctorate in acupuncture and Oriental medicine & a second PhD from CIIS in qualitative research methods. He currently teaches leadership and paradigms of inquiry in a doctoral program at AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine.

Morris did his first professional astrological reading in the fall of 1977. He soon developed a passion for medical astrology; particularly humoral-based practices and Chinese medicine, where he found the strongest correlations to astrology.  Since then he has regularly use astrological charts in the practice of herbal medicine and acupuncture.

Will currently teaches a medical astrology program, which incorporates astrological factors in innovative treatments, rooted in classical form, using  both physical medicine & herbal prescriptions.  His medical astrological interests lie at the crossroads of oral transmission, contemporary practices, classics and clinical validation.

Dr. Morris will present a paper on 'Paradigms & Methods: Ontological Assumptions and Astrological Research.' He will also serve on the panel on Research Methodologies and share his experiences in medical astrology on the Expanding Professional Applications panel.  

Robert Currey is a British astrologer, writer, lecturer, software designer, programmer and retailer.  Robert Currey obtained a BSc [Hons] degree in Psychology and Philosophy at South Bank University, London. He holds a Diploma from the Faculty of Astrological Studies and is a Certified Astro*Carto*Graphy® practitioner. He has published extensively on astrological research in Correlation, and will be speaking on the history of research astrology and on debunking the skeptics: reexamining earlier skeptical claims against promising research. 

Alex Trenoweth, M.A. What do you get when you cross a dedicated school teacher with a passionate astrologer? You get Alex Trenoweth, an award-winning, innovative and thought-provoking astrological researcher. In recent years, Alex has been travelling across the globe lecturing on the topic of astrology and education. She will be presenting her statistical research on exam results, pupil behaviour and the lunar cycles, and the brain development and circadian cycles of sleepy adolescents. Her practical yet user friendly results are a must-see for parents, teachers or anyone who works with young people. Alex will also be presenting updates on the Gauquelin research and Kolisko experiments.

Linda Berry, MSSW.

 BA Psychology,  BA Math and Computer Science, MSSW Social Work

Linda is a graduate from David Cochrane's Vibrational Astrology Course.  She has programmed various astrology-related projects since the early 1980's and worked as a Computer Programmer from 2000 - 2004.  Since 2009, she has done extensive research into Trans-Neptunian Planetoids and centaurs. She is currently involved in research on the planetary combinations in the aspects up through the 32nd Harmonic. She also does transformational energetic therapy with astrology as an important part of the process.

Linda will be presenting on her research on planetary pairs and triplets, and whether their frequencies and harmonics affect the 'significance and effectiveness' of people in the Sirius Database. 

Dennis Harness, PhD

 is a professional astrologer who holds a doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology. For more than twenty-five years, Dr. Harness has studied both Eastern and Western techniques of astrology. He presents workshops on Vedic Astrology and Transpersonal Psychology throughout the world. He is the author of The Nakshatras: The Lunar Mansions of Vedic Astrology, which is published by Lotus Press. Dr. Harness is currently working on a new book titled The Karmic Code: The Predictive Planetary Periods of Vedic Astrology. Dr. Harness will be speaking on the importance of single subject design (in generating hypotheses for group design research), Borderline and Mood Disorders and his published research of clinical characteristics in patients with Chronic Facial Pain.

Franco Minatel, P. Eng. 

Alphee Lavoie's  Astro Investigators are a group of astrologers dedicated to the scientific scrutiny of long held astrological concepts. Their home base is Alphee's AIR headquarters in West Hartford, CT. With AIR’s research software, the Gators formulate hypotheses, then gather and analyze data to determine the statistical significance and validity of chosen axioms.  Franco will be presenting a paper on the group's Breast Cancer study, (314 charts of woman with breast cancer.) After statistical analysis determined the contributing factors, the neural net then developed a model predicting breast cancer in random samples within 95% accuracy. This study is ongoing, and further data is being collected. Franco will also do a poster session, and serve on the panel on Methodologies. 

Michele Finey 

is an astrologer, hypnotherapist and writer based in Melbourne, Australia. A passionate researcher, Michele’s first published article appeared in 1985 and since then she has contributed to numerous astrological publications including; The Mountain Astrologer, The NCGR Journal, and Wellbeing Magazine. She is the author of Solar Fire’s Health and Wellbeing Report and two books, Secrets of the Zodiac (2009) and The Sacred Dance of Venus and Mars (2012). Her work has been translated into several languages. Michele has presented her research throughout Australia and internationally via webinar. This is her second trip to the United States.  With her partner, Neil Dennis, Michele will present a paper on the long-term scope and beauty of the orbital cycles of Mars and Venus; the wider social implications and other significant influences on human nature and relationships.  

Neil Dennis, CPEng.

Neil is a qualified electrical engineer with more than 35 years’ experience. He works as a Technical Director for a large multinational consulting group and also chairs an International Electrotechnical Commission subcommittee. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineers Australia. His university training was based in the traditional aspects of electromagnetic theory and the development of materials and electrical machines. Key aspects of his work include design for AC electrical power distribution and industrial control systems, including electric motor systems. His chosen field of expertise is in providing safety advice and design for potentially explosive atmospheres.  His main role is in providing safety consulting services to a wide range of industries including refineries, food processing, pharmaceutical and manufacturing plants.

With a comprehensive understanding of electromagnetism in our modern world, Neil is uniquely qualified to explain how copper (Venus) and iron (Mars) interact in the laws of electrophysics.  He will co-present with Michele Finey on the Sacred Dance of Mars & Venus, and present a poster entitled Copper and Iron: Physics & Metaphysics, exploring how the interaction of copper and iron mirrors the archetypal relationship between Venus and Mars.
